I spent a lot of time with John hunting in the north woods. He was without a doubt the best hunting companion I ever had, but unfortunately not the best hunter I ever saw. He was always ready with a story or a great topic for conversation that kept the group loose and kept the trips lively. I'm sure that all of his hunting buddies miss those times.
